I saw this while reading someone else's code and realized I wasn't very familiar with it, so I'm reviewing and taking notes. A lambda function is a small anonymous function. A lambda function can take any number of arguments, but can only have one expression.

Basemap stopped maintenance at the end of 2020, and cartopy is its replacement. Here are some learning notes. First, the conclusion: as of August 1, 2020, version 0.18 still cannot completely replace basemap, especially regarding coastal data resolution issues, but it has already shown its advantages. I need to try using it more in the future.
